Persian—Cameo Bicolor Cat Breed

This lovely breed is truly a Persian—an elegant, graceful, and gentle cat distinguished by its remarkable coat.

The color combinations of this version of the Cameo are almost endless. In addition to the shading and tipping that characterize the Cameo coat, in which the hair shafts are colored only partway along their length, the addition of both bicolor and tricolor patterns make this breed seem like many different cats.

Shades of red are common, but black, blue, chocolate, cream, and tortoiseshell (black and red, or blue and cream) also appear, all with extensive areas of white. The contrast between the patches of sparkling white and color of varying intensity is stunning.
